The toughest part was choosing since they provide so many options including not just out and backs, but loop suggestions to combine with other trails.My favorite part of the book (and something that is not frequently in other hiking books) is the table at the beginning which made it a breeze for a first timer to the White Mountains to narrow your choice of day hikes you want to consider. The table gives an overview of every single hike (organized by where the hikes are that correspond to the chapters) with mileage, elevation gain, travel time, what the highlights of the hikes are, fee, dogs, kids, snowshoe, etc. I love that you don't have to fold out a gigantic map to everytime you use this book just to figure out what they are saying, like you do with the Adirondak Mountain Club's books (which are impossible to use).THANK YOU AMC!
